Back in early January last year the club made a decision that moving forward that we wanted to help raise as much awareness and money for local charities & charities that were close to our members hearts. With this decision made and going forward each year we have have arranged for our 'charity of the year'.

This year after some genuinely outstanding suggestions we chose the charity Crohn's and Colitis. This is a charity that is very close to many of us here at The Roundabout Club. Crohn's is a condition that causes inflammation of the digestive system. Crohn's is a chronic condition, this means that it is ongoing and life long, although you may have periods of good health. Affecting over 115,000 people in the Uk, and millions more worldwide and 1 in 4 newly diagnosed with crohn's or colitis are under the age of 16 years old it very much affects a wider range of gender groups.

Throughout this year we have organised many successful events which include;

*Charity Football Match v Sandy F.C

*Charity 18 hole golf tournament.

*2x Raffles with prizes accumulating over £1,000

& so much more.

Our Updated total to date that we are extremely proud of is : £2000
