Charity Update

For the last 2 years As a club we formed a very strong bond with our charity of the year Crohn’s and Colits Uk. Our vision was to raise as much awareness as we possibly could through various fundraising events. As our time comes to an end we are delighted to announce we have raised an incredible £2,000. As a club we can’t thank every single person enough who has helped support us on this journey it has meant an awful lot! Moving forward in 2019 we are delighted to reveal our 2 charities that we have carefully chosen to help raise awareness for. The 1st charity is Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice in Moggerhanger. Who provide expert care, advice and support for people living in Bedfordshire with life limiting conditions as well as supporting their families. A local charity that means an awful lot to many of us in the community. The 2nd charity is Mind. Mind are a mental health charity that are here to make sure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone. They provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Who campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding. An important charity that we feel very strongly about here at RC. Both have been careful selected and mean an awful lot to many of us and we hope that you will support us in the events we have scheduled. In the coming weeks we will reveal ‘dates for your diary’ on some big events we have planned. Once again Thankyou for your continued support! RC
